Product Description
Honeycomb ceramics is a kind of porous industrial ceramics, with many honeycomb-shaped parallel channels inside, which has the characteristics of low thermal expansion coefficient and high porosity. Low-surface ceramic carrier is mainly used in automobile exhaust emission control, which has high mechanical strength and thermal shock resistance, and can be used for a long time at high temperature. The materials are mullite, spinel, zircon, aluminum titanate and cordierite. Cordierite is the mainstream honeycomb ceramic material (2MgO•2Al2O3•5SiO2) for exhaust gas catalysis because its thermal expansion coefficient is almost zero and its structure and mechanical properties are relatively stable under rapid temperature change.
