Product Description

At present, there are three main types of gasoline engine aftertreatment system layout, the first is Closed－coupled layout, that is, GPF and TWC are integrated and installed together, which is closer to the exhaust manifold. The second is the Under－floor arrangement, that is, the GPF is arranged at the downstream position of TWC, and the distance depends on the exhaust temperature. The third type is a four-way catalytic converter, in which GPF and TWC are combined into one, which is closest to the exhaust manifold. In view of the high cost of the four-way catalytic converter and the high complexity of the periodic active regeneration control of tightly coupled GPF, considering the requirements of efficiency and space, the post-GPF scheme is usually adopted.
