Product Description
Active regeneration refers to providing additional energy from the outside, raising the temperature of the filter element, burning the particles deposited in the filter element, and restoring the clean state of the filter element, including heating regeneration, fuel injection combustion regeneration, electric heating regeneration, microwave regeneration, etc.
(1) heating regeneration Diesel engines can rapidly increase the inlet temperature of DPF by throttling intake and exhaust, in-cylinder post-injection, etc. Wang Dan of Jilin University found that in-cylinder post-injection can increase the outlet temperature of DOC to 650℃, at which temperature most PM will be oxidized and the regeneration effect is good. However, this method will lead to increased fuel consumption and secondary pollution.
(2) Fuel injection combustion-supporting regeneration Fuel injection combustion-supporting regeneration is to add a set of fuel injectors in front of the inlet of the particle trap, inject a small amount of fuel oil, use exhaust oxygen or supply air, ignite with spark plugs or glow plug, and re-ignite the particles with high-temperature gas. Generally, the regeneration process can be completed after 1 ~ 2 min. This method can be regenerated in most cases, and the regeneration effect is good, but an additional fuel supply device is needed, which leads to high cost, and the fuel injection combustion-supporting regeneration can not be accelerated rapidly, otherwise the gas flow will easily blow out the flame.
(3) electric heating regeneration Electric heating regeneration is to heat the particle trap by electrifying heating method, so as to promote the ignition of particles. There are many types of electrically heated regenerated particulate traps. One is the filter element of the catcher, which is wound with continuous ceramic fibers on a metal resistance heating pipe. One end of the heating pipe is an exhaust inlet, while the other end is closed, forcing the exhaust gas to flow out after passing through the ceramic fiber, and supplying power to the heating pipe by a DC power supply with a voltage of 12 V.. Another technique is to use crystalline SiC with high conductivity as filter material. When regeneration is needed, the electric current is directly passed through the conductive trap material, so that the heating temperature of the trap material is increased, and thus the particles deposited on the trap material are heated and burned. The flexible management of electric heating regeneration temperature can improve cold start and low temperature performance, but the electric heating control system has higher requirements, higher cost and higher power consumption. In addition, uneven heating may cause uneven regeneration of filter elements, resulting in local overheating of fruit green body and damage.
(4) Microwave regeneration Microwave heating regeneration is to use the unique selective heating and volume heating characteristics of microwave energy to form a spatially distributed heat source inside the filter body, heat PM deposited on the filter body, and make the particles ignite and burn. The effect of microwave regeneration treatment is determined by the different dielectric properties between the filter material of particle trap and the particles deposited on its surface.
